<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both of high waterproofness and a good pressing feeling. <P>SOLUTION: A waterproof push button switch member comprises: a waterproof member 10 formed by communicating one or more container sections 10a made of an elastic material, opened on one side and projecting to a side opposite to an opening side and an elastic flange section 10b formed to extend outward in a radial direction, and having a reinforcing member 50 of a bottomed cup shape having an opening in a direction of an opening of the container section 10a inside, outside or in the container section 10a; a cover member 30 arranged on an outer side than the waterproof member 10 and having a through hole 31 at a position opposite to the container section 10a; and a push button 20 that can be driven toward the container section 10a. The push button switch member has a waterproof mechanism section 13 for preventing water between an outer face of the container section 10a and inside of an insertion port 41 of a housing 40 that is arranged on an inner side than the waterproof member 10 and in which the container section 10a is inserted.
