PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate for battery exterior package in which drop in laminate strength between an aluminum foil and an innermost layer and occurrence of delamination, due to deterioration of electrolyte in a lithium ion battery, are suppressed, and which can produce an exterior package in high yield. SOLUTION: In the laminate 10 for battery exterior package formed by laminating an aluminum foil and a resin layer sequentially, a base material layer 11, an aluminum foil 12, and an innermost layer 13 including a polypropylene or polyethylene layer are laminated in order. On at lease a surface of the innermost layer of the aluminum foil 12, a thin film coating layer 14 including resin having a skeleton of polyvinyl alcohol containing a hydroxyl group or copolymer resin thereof is laminated. The thin film coating layer 14 is crosslinked with a thin film coating layer which includes a resin containing a metal fluoride or its derivative and having a skeleton of polyvinyl alcohol containing a hydroxyl group, or includes copolymer resin of the resin.
