PURPOSE: A compound is provided to have skin whitening, antioxidant, and PPAR(Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor) activity, thereby preventing and treating skin aging and cardiovascular diseases. CONSTITUTION: A compound is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, each of R^1-R^4 is the same or different from each other, and is H, OH, C1-C4 alkoxy, halogen, or O-C(CH3)2-COOH; each of X^1 - X^3 is the same or different from each other, and is H, OH, C1-C4 alkoxy, halogen, thiol, phenoxy, phenylamino, or styrylbenzene; A is one of hetrocyclic rings, benzene or imidazolidine-2,4-dione; Y is CH or N; and n is an integer from 1-3.
