PURPOSE: An energy storage device is provided to provide excellent ability to seal near an electrode terminal. CONSTITUTION: An energy storage device comprises a container, an electrode body(11), an electrode terminal(23), a current collector, and an insulating member which insulates the container and electrode terminal. The container has a convex part(21) which protrudes to outside of the container. The convex part has a through-hole(21a) which passes through the electrode terminal. The electrode terminal is electrically connected to the current collector. The insulating member has a side arranged along the side of the convex part.
