The cylinder piston element has a piston rod (106) having a receiving end (221) and an opposing end (223). The piston rod has an internal thread (225) that is provided at the receiving end. A spigot (110) has an ends (231,233) with external threads. A stop (235) is arranged between the ends of the spigot. One end of the spigot is screwed into the internal thread of the piston rod. A lock nut (112) is screwed between the stop and the receiving end onto the external thread of the spigot. An independent claim is included for a method for fastening workpiece at piston rod.
