<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supplying an optical element material heated in fluidized state by heating gas to the pressuring position accurately in the method and apparatus for manufacturing an optical element. <P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing an optical element comprises: a step of heating the optical element material 100 fluidizing in the inside of the fed heating section 210 by a heating gas; a step of feeding the heated optical element material 100 between a first molding mold 221 and a second molding mold 231; and a step of bringing either one of the first molding mold 221 and the second molding mold 231 into contact with the fed optical material, thereafter bringing the optical element material into contact with another molding mold; a step of pressurizing the optical element material by the first molding mold and a second molding mold; after the contact step of the pressurized optical element material, a step of cooling the pressurized optical element material, while in the contact state, where before the heated optical element material comes into contact with one molding mold, a positioning member 280 is abutted to the heated optical element, and positioning the optical element material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
