<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever fitting type connector capable of preventing disengagement of a lever from a connector housing even when external force is applied to the connector housing and securing rigidity for withstanding rotation operation of the lever without increasing the size of the lever fitting type connector. <P>SOLUTION: A lever fitting type connector 1 comprises: a lever 3 having a pair of side plates 30 which are rotatably supported by both sidewalls 7 of a connector housing 2 and an operation part 32 which couples the pair of side plates; locking parts 38 arranged at the operation part; arms 13 raised on a rear end side 10 of an upper wall 8 of the connector housing and having free ends stretched to the rear; and locking receiving parts 18 arranged at the sides of the free ends of the arms and locked to the locking parts. When the lever in the raised state rotates to the rear and the locking parts are locked to the locking receiving parts, an extension plate 33 which faces to the rear end side of the upper wall is arranged at the operation part to cover the top surfaces of the arms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
