<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator that can oscillate with a triangular waveform and a sawtooth waveform in a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: When a transistor 2 turns on, a transistor 4 turns off. A current I2 responsively charges a capacitor 5 to increase a voltage V1 of the capacitor 5 linearly. When V1 exceeds an upper threshold of a Schmitt trigger, an output of an inversion circuit 6 is inverted. As a result, the transistor 4 turns on and the transistor 2 turns off. A current I4 responsively discharges the capacitor 5 of the voltage V1 to decrease V1 linearly. When V1 falls below a lower threshold of the Schmitt trigger, the output of the inversion circuit 6 is inverted. Such action is repeated to repeatedly charge and discharge the capacitor 5, so that an oscillation waveform is output from an output terminal 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
