摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounted and side-view semiconductor optical device which enables mounting with a high mounting strength and without a gradient with respect to a mounting substrate when performing mounting on the mounting substrate. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor optical device 1 has a three-layered structure in which a reflector substrate 20 having a window hole 21 and a bonding substrate 10 on which circuit patterns are formed on both surfaces are bonded by an adhesive sheet 30; and round-arched through holes 6 each of which is continuously formed across lateral faces of the reflector substrate 20, the adhesive sheet 30 and the bonding substrate 10, and which are connected to the circuit patterns formed on both surfaces of the bonding substrate 10; LED elements 2 mounted on the bonding substrate 10 in the window hole 21 of the reflector substrate 20; and a translucent resin 22 filled in the window hole 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
