摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclic olefin ring-opened polymer for a molding material and a production method of the polymer capable of suppressing generation of a gel-like defect and a die line in a film. <P>SOLUTION: The polymer contains a structural unit expressed by structural formula (1) and has 2.5 or less of a molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) in terms of polystyrene measured by gel permeation chromatography and 0.40 or more of a melt viscosity ratio H, which is a ratio of a melt viscosity P1 at 1 (s<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>) shear rate defined by numerical formula (I) to a melt viscosity P2 at 100 (s<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>) shear rate. In structural formula (1), m is 0, 1 or 2; X represents at least one divalent group independently selected from -CH=CH- and -CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>CH<SB POS="POST">2</SB>-; R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>each independently represent a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom, represent a substituted or unsubstituted 1-10C hydrocarbon group optionally having a connecting group containing an oxygen atom, nitrogen atom, sulfur atom or silicon atom, or represent a polar group, however, at least one of R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>is a polar group and at least one in the other R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>to R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>is a 1-10C hydrocarbon group. In numerical formula (I), H represents a melt viscosity ratio; P1 represents a melt viscosity (Pa s) at a shear rate of 1 (s<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>); and P2 represents a melt viscosity (Pa s) at a shear rate of 100 (s<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
