Enamel coating (1) for a heating element of a hair styling device, preferably a hair straightener, comprises a contact surface (4) for shaping the hair, an enamel (2) as a base material, and at least one filler with filler particles (3). Independent claims are also included for: (1) hair styling device, preferably hair straightener, comprising two mold parts interconnected by a hinge, for shaping the hair, where at least one of the mold parts includes at least one heating element for heating the hair, which at least partially comprises the enamel; and (2) coating the heating element of the hair styling apparatus with the enamel coating, comprising providing the heating element, applying the enamel at least partially on the heating element, where the enamel contains the filler with filler particles, and baking the enamel to form the enamel coating.
