摘要 PURPOSE: A power management system for a ship having a large capacity changing device is provided to effectively and economically manage electricity for charging by controlling the operation of circuit switches according to the operation modes of a ship, the operation states of a waste heat generating device, and the charged states of charging devices. CONSTITUTION: A power management system for a ship comprises a waste heat generating device(11), charging devices(131,132,133), multiple circuit switches, and a switching control part(15). The waste heat generating device converts the heat energy of discharge gas discharged from a main engine to the electric energy. The charging devices charge electricity from engine generators and the waste heat generating device. The circuit switches are connected among a bow thrust motor, the engine generators, the waste heat generating device, and the charging devices. The switching control part controls the operation of the circuit switches according to the operation modes of a ship, the operation states of the waste heat generating device, and the charged states of the charging devices. In a docking mode of the ship, the bow thrust motor is rotated by the electricity charged in the charging devices.
