PURPOSE: A method of eliminating a shutter-lag, a camera module thereof, and a mobile device including the same are provided to eliminate a shutter-lag by maintaining a sensor output image to have a low resolution in a preview mode of a camera image sensor(CIS) and changing the resolution of the sensor output image from a low resolution to a high resolution from a preview mode to a capture preparation mode, thereby effectively eliminating the shutter-lag while preventing unnecessary power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A method of reducing shutter-lag in a camera image sensor comprises the steps of maintaining a sensor output image to have a low resolution in a preview mode of a camera image sensor(S120); changing an operation mode of the camera image sensor from a preview mode to a capture preparation mode by changing a resolution of the sensor output image from a low resolution to a high resolution in response to a capture preparation signal(S140); and capturing the sensor output image in response to a capture signal in a capture preparation mode of the camera image sensor(S160).
