PURPOSE: A slave clock with automatic time setting and correcting functions and a control method thereof are provided to automatically set the slave clock with preset time and then to correct a time difference from the time information received from a master time transmission and reception device by controlling a gear box, thereby synchronizing the time of an analogue clock and displaying correct time by automatically setting the clock with the preset time and synchronizing time even though power is off. CONSTITUTION: A slave clock with automatic time setting and correcting functions in a time synchronization system includes a time receiving part(100) receiving time information from a master time transmission and reception device, a gear box(200) synchronizing time, and a control part(300) automatically setting time by using the gear box and correcting the set time by using the time information received by the time receiving part. The control part includes a time setting part(310) setting the time of the slave clock with preset time by using the gear box and a time correction part(320) correcting a time difference between the time information received by the time receiving part and the setting time set by the time setting part using the gear box.
