PURPOSE: A wireless power transmitting device, a method thereof, and a method of adjusting a resonant frequency are provided to selectively operate resonance coils, thereby improving power transmission efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting resonance coil receives electricity from a power source. A plurality of transmitting coils(421,422) receives electricity from the transmitting resonance coil. The resonance coils transmit the electricity to a wireless power receiving device. A detection unit(440) detects whether the wireless power receiving device is closely located or not.
