<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballpoint pen of a simple structure that is suitable for a long distance writing, and hardly causes ink leakage or the like in a manufacturing process. <P>SOLUTION: In a ballpoint pen that includes a ballpoint pen chip that rotatably holds a part of ball being projected from the chip end edge, by disposing the ink tank receiving the ink for the ball point pen in the shaft tube, placing the ball at the bottom wall of the ball holding chamber, and caulking the chip end inside, an antiwear coated layer is provided on the surface of the ball and/or the surface of bottom wall, and the clearance in the back and forth direction of the ball satisfies A<B≤C, 1.2<B/A<1.5, 1.0<C/B<1.2, wherein A is a clearance of writing distance 0 m, B is a clearance of writing distance 100 m, and C is a clearance of writing distance 1,000 m. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
