<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular antenna device that has an antenna gain improved over a wide band despite a low profile design. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular antenna device for use on a vehicle comprises: a base part 10; an antenna element 20; and a plate element 30. The antenna element 20 is helically wound about a virtual axis 1 in the direction of a top region of the vehicular antenna device from the base part 10. The plate element 30, which is electrically connected to an open end side of the antenna element 20, comprises a conductor flat in a short side direction and arranged so as to cover a top region of the helical antenna element 20 and to have the short side direction in a perpendicular or oblique positional relationship with the virtual axis 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
