METHOD AND DEVICE FOR IMPROVING PERFORMANCE OF MOBILE WIDGET

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for improving performance of a mobile widget application. The method includes: before uploading the developed mobile widget application to a download server, compiling a JavaScript file in the mobile widget application; and then repacking the compiled JavaScript file according to a format accessible by a JavaScript virtual machine on a terminal, and uploading the repacked mobile widget application to the download server for download by the terminal. With the implementation of the preceding method, the JavaScript compilation is not required during the startup of a mobile widget, and the startup of the mobile widget is accelerated, thereby improving the performance of the mobile widget application and enhancing the user experience.
