PURPOSE: A lifeboat is provided to reduce the volume of the lifeboat by being folded when a cover part is not used. CONSTITUTION: A lifeboat comprises a ship body(10), a cover part(20), and a support device(40). The cover part is installed to cover the upper part of a hull and has multiple panels foldably connected to each other. The support device supports the cover part in an unfolded state. The panels include a ceiling panel(21) and side panels(22). The side panels include upper plates(22a) and lower plates(22b) connected by connection parts(22c). The top ends of the upper plates are connected to the side ends of the ceiling panels. The bottom ends of the lower plates are connected to the hull.
