PURPOSE: A lithium sulfate battery is provided to suppress the movement of a lithium polysulfide, thereby capable of solving problem about reciprocating of conventional lithium polysulfide between a negative electrode and a positive electrode. CONSTITUTION: A lithium sulfate battery comprises a negative electrode and positive electrode formed between a lithium metal negative electrode(3) and a sulfur positive electrode(5) and comprises a non-penetrable solid separation film which selectively transmits lithium ions and prevents movement of non-solid lithium polysulfide. The non-penetrable solid separation film is formed of glass ceramic material and transfers lithium ions by movement of ion point defect. The lithium metal anode and sulfur positive electrode comprise liquid electrolyte.
