<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoformable foamed sheet for molding capable of producing a bulky deep drawn molded body having characteristics such as heat insulating properties, heat-retaining properties, and cushioning properties. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoformable foamed sheet for molding is composed mainly of wood pulp, polyolefin-based synthetic pulp, a thermoplastic synthetic fiber and foamed microcapsule particles and is a multilayer sheet composed of a surface layer, a middle layer and a back layer. The content of wood pulp in the whole sheet for molding is 20 mass% or less. The middle layer contains 10-50 mass% of foamed microcapsule particles to 100 mass% of the fiber constituting the middle layer, and the surface and the back layers do not contain the foamed microcapsule particles or contain the particles in an amount of at most 10 mass% which is smaller than that of the middle layer.
