<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The extruder has a cylindrical casing (1) including a rotating worm shaft (2), where a suspension is passed from an inlet (4) to an outlet (9) through an annular gap (3) formed between the casing and the worm shaft. The casing includes a radially inner sieve (5) and a radially outer supporting body (6), where axially aligned support rings are formed in the supporting body and axially spaced from one another. Support rods are axially distributed and interconnected between the support rings, where the support rods are in contact with the sieve, and recesses are provided close to the sieve. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Worm extruder for separating liquids from a suspension e.g. fibrous material suspension or slurry (al claimed), in a fibrous material web manufacturing machine. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The supporting body with the axially aligned support rings ensures high stability with a low weight, without affecting the function of the extruder.
