<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car stop block which is installed on a road surface of a parking lot or the like and which is grasped easily and can be carried easily. <P>SOLUTION: A car stop block 1 comprises a concrete block body 10 which is installed on a road surface 99. The block main body 10 includes on both left and right end faces 16a and 16b longitudinal grooves 20 whose cross section in a horizontal direction 101 is semicircular and which penetrate a top face 13 and extend from the top face 13 to a bottom face 12.
