FUEL SHUT-OFF VALVE DIAGNOSIS APPARATUS

A fuel shut-off valve diagnosis apparatus diagnoses a valve function of a shut-off valve (9) that is opened or closed to permit or inhibit supply of fuel gas from a fuel tank (5) to an engine (1). The fuel shut-off valve diagnosis apparatus includes a pressure sensor (8) provided between the fuel tank (5) and the engine (1) to detect a fuel pressure of the fuel gas; and a control unit that closes the shut-off valve (9) during an operation of the engine (1), monitors a consumption amount of the fuel gas, which is an amount of the fuel gas supplied to the engine (1) by injection, from a time when the shut-off valve (9) is closed, and diagnoses the valve function of the shut-off valve (9) based on the detected fuel pressure, on a condition that an accumulated value of the consumption amount of the fuel gas reaches a predetermined value.
