<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition capable of forming an adhesive layer which is excellent in, particularly, humidification resistance of antistatic function, as well as essential characteristics such as durability, and to provide an adhesive layer, and a polarizing plate with the adhesive layer. <P>SOLUTION: The adhesive composition includes: a (meth)acrylic polymer (A); and an ionic compound (B) having an anionic component and a cationic component.
