ACCESS POINT AUTO SELECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR WI-FI SYSTEMS

PURPOSE: A device for automatically selecting a router of a Wi-Fi system and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to select an optimal router by considering signal strength in a connecting process in the Wi-Fi system. CONSTITUTION: A reception sensitivity unit(330) extracts an AP(Access Point) in which reception sensitivity is over a set reception sensitivity from a second AP. The reception sensitivity unit is selected from a third AP list. A throughput measuring unit(340) measures a downlink throughput for each AP of the third AP list during a reference time. The throughput measuring unit selects a fourth list. A display unit(350) displays the fourth AP list.
