<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transcoding device for converting a multi-object audio signal encoded in a spatial cue base audio coding system for MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group) surround decoding. <P>SOLUTION: A transcoding device includes: transcoding means for, on the basis of a bit stream including rendering information corresponding to a multi-object audio signal to be transmitted from an encoder or rendering information corresponding to the multi-object audio signal to be input from the outside, generating an MPS bit stream including spatial cue information corresponding to the multi-object audio signal; and signal processing means for, on the basis of the bit stream to be transmitted from the encoder or the rendering information to be input from the outside, converting the encoded multi-object audio signal suitably for MPS decoding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
