PURPOSE: A guide device for spreading an airbag cushion of a side airbag for a vehicle is provided to improve efficiency for protecting a passenger by correctly spreading the airbag cushion to be protruded to the front side of a seat back. CONSTITUTION: A guide device for spreading an airbag cushion of a side airbag for a vehicle comprises an inner guide bracket(31) and an outer guide bracket(32). The inner guide bracket surrounds an inner side of an airbag module(20) and is fixed to a seat back frame(11). The spreading direction of the airbag cushion(22) induces to a slit(12a) formed in a seat pad(12). The outer guide bracket surrounds an outer side of the airbag module and is fixed to the seat back frame. The spreading direction of the airbag cushion induces to the slit formed in the seat pad.
