PURPOSE: An electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor with an asymmetry air injection device is provided to cool the electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor and to prevent foreign materials from being stuck to the electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor. CONSTITUTION: An electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor comprises a first injecting hole(21) and a second injecting hole(22). The first injecting hole, which is formed in a portion of the underside of the electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor, injects air. The second injecting hole, which is formed in a portion of the underside of the electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor except the portion where the first injecting hole is not formed, injects air. The first injecting hole is arranged in the portion of the underside of the electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor in a direction where the electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor is moved for detect the defects of a steel material. The second injecting hole is arranged in the portion of the underside of the electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor behind the direction where the electromagnetic ultrasonic sensor is moved for detect the defects of the steel material.
