PURPOSE: An automatic control device of an optical pick-up is provided to determine similarity of one track when positions of a main beam and a sub-beam are changed, thereby accurately determining one track corresponding to a determination result. CONSTITUTION: A filtering unit(11) filters a first signal and a second signal by an HPF(High Pass Filter)(11a) and a LPF(Low Pass Filter)(11b). A pulse generation unit(13) converts the signals into a pulse signal. A comparator(14) determines the signals as a high signal or a low signal and generates a digital signal by comparing a delayed second signal with the first signal.
