PURPOSE: A dual function chair showing a dual function by a separated seat plate is provided to have a chair function applicable to an office chair and to implement a bed function conveniently and comfortably. CONSTITUTION: A dual function chair showing a ducal function by a separated seat plate comprises a back(100) supporting the back of a seated user when the user is seated; a seat plate(200) supporting the hips of human; and legs(300) supporting the seat plate. The seat plate is divided into two plates in the vertical direction to the direction that a user sits, and comprises a front seat plate and a rear plate. The front seat plate and the rear seat plate contact each other at the same height and are integrated when the chair is used in the conventional chair function in which a user seats on the seat plate of the chair in contact with the hips and puts legs on the ground.
