<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home electrotherapy appliance combining potential and heat, which is free from lowering of the applied voltage due to electrical insulation performance with temperature-resistance negative characteristics (NTC characteristics) of a sheet heating element, while maintaining a surface sensor capacity as well. <P>SOLUTION: The home electrotherapy appliance combining potential and heat incorporates an electric floor plate 5 for potential therapy and a heating element for thermotherapy in a mattress, and can perform the potential therapy and the thermotherapy by switching control of a controller. The heating element has a sheet-like heating element 1 formed of a cloth into which an electrode band such as a copper wire is woven on its both sides, and which is applied with a carbon conductive coating material. The electric floor plate 5 has a sheet-like conductor formed of an electric insulating film such as a vinyl chloride film, whose one side surface is applied with the carbon coating material to form a conductive film. The sheet-like heating element 1 and the electric floor plate 5 are integrally laminated with a mesh-like fabric 21 having a 4 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>to 100 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>mesh held therebetween, so as to maintain a capacity as the electric floor plate 5 and a capacity as the surface sensor allowing electrical safety of the sheet-like heating element 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
