<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide that can restrain deterioration of light guide efficiency while securing manufacturing facility, a light source device, and a method for manufacturing the light guide. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide efficiency of the light guide can be raised with an auxiliary structure 13, even if an end face 11m is arranged on a light injection element 11, since the auxiliary structure 13 for making light emitted from the end face 11m incident from the upper face 12c to a light guide plate 12 is arranged between the end face 11m of the light injection element 11 and an upper face 12c of the light guide 12.
