PROTECTIVE TUBE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reliable work for reading a wireless tag by means of a wireless tag reader when a protective tube is installed in a wire, and managed by using the wireless tag.

SOLUTION: A protective tube management system 10 for managing a protective tube 1 installed in a high-voltage distribution line 2 includes a wireless tag 12 attached to the protective tube 1 and storing the management information thereof, a reader/writer 20 having an antenna 22 attached to a protective tube insertion mechanism 50 guiding installation of the protective tube 1 in the high-voltage distribution line 2 so as to communicate with the wireless tag 12 attached to the protective tube 1 being guided, and a protective tube management server 30 for managing the management information read from the wireless tag 12.
