<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily grasp to which part the user has viewed for each program content belonging to a series program. <P>SOLUTION: A content output device of the embodiment includes storage means and output control means. The storage means correspondingly stores series identification information for identifying a series program obtained by grouping broadcast contents received from a broadcast station, content identification information for identifying the broadcast content, and a final arrival position for each broadcast content, which shows a reproduction position which is the nearest to the last of the broadcast content in a range reproduced with an operation of a user in the broadcast content.
