<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus in which abnormality of an AC filter circuit can be detected in simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 8 detects a harmonic component contained in a voltage VL detected by a voltage detection section 6 and, in the case where the detected harmonic component exceeds a preset value, detects abnormality of an AC filter circuit 4. The voltage detection section 6 is provided in a power conversion apparatus 1 for the control device 8 to control a conversion section 3.
