<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove fatty tissue by controlling heat transfer to the peripheral tissue. <P>SOLUTION: The fat removing device 100 includes: an approximately tubular casing 10 having an opening 10a to be pressed on the fatty tissue A; an ultrasonic element 20 for applying focused ultrasonic waves to the surface of the fatty tissue exposed into the casing 10 as the opening 10a is pressed; and a feed tube 30 for feeding a propagating member W with fluidity to propagate ultrasonic waves into the casing 10.
