<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: when maintenance information on an image forming device cannot be transmitted, whether the transmission failure is caused by a system failure or due to off of the image forming device cannot be identified, and it takes a lot of time for a user to use the image forming device again. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device 3 accumulates error log showing a cause of stop during image formation, and outputs maintenance information including the error log to an information processing device 4 at predetermined intervals. The information processing device 4 analyzes the error log, and compares the time in which no maintenance information is output with abnormal stop determination time. Even if the image forming device 3 cannot transmit the maintenance information, the information processing device 4 can thereby predict a cause of the failure of the image forming device 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
