The inlet (10) has a sucking-in pipe system (12) comprising two spacer regions (14, 18) that are fluidically separated from each other. Air flow (16) comprises two flow portions (20, 22) that are fluidically connected with each other, where the flow portions divide the air flow into respective partial air flows. A compressor compacts the appropriate partial air flows. A detection unit (32) is arranged in one of the portions to detect the air mass of the appropriate partial air flow. Another detection unit (30) is arranged in the air flow to detect the mass of the air flow. The detection unit is in the form of hot-film air-mass meter.
