<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash which enables the opening/closing and locking/unlocking of a sliding screen to be performed by remote control and which facilitates checking of a locked/unlocked state. <P>SOLUTION: A sash includes a frame body, a sliding screen which is housed in the frame body, an electric crescent, an opening/closing device, and a display unit. The electric crescent for locking/unlocking the sliding screen in a closed state includes detection means for detecting a locked/unlocked state. The opening/closing device opens/closes the sliding screen in a state in which the detection means detects the unlocking of the electric crescent.
