摘要 <p>The device has an inverter (5), a transmitter (6) and a pulse generator (8) for generating a high frequency signal that is supplied to photovoltaic modules. A measuring unit (7) measures leakage current (If) of the photovoltaic modules at a grounded terminal. The leakage current is caused by the high frequency signal due to capacitance increase as a sequence of damage of the photovoltaic modules. The measuring unit is arranged in a connection line (3) of a module frame (2) to the grounded terminal, where the transmitter is installed in a direct current cable (4) of the photovoltaic modules. An independent claim is also included for a method for diagnosis of a photovoltaic module.</p>
