With the object of providing an organic display panel of high brightness, on a substrate (1), there is provided an organic light emitting element (111) in which there are laminated, in this order, a bottom electrode (3), a positive hole injection layer (5), an organic light emitting layer (8) and an upper electrode (10). The bottom electrode (3) is made of aluminium, silver or an alloy containing at least one of these. The positive hole injection layer (5) contains a transition metal oxide. Between the bottom electrode (3) and the positive hole injection layer (5), a mixed oxide thin layer (4) constituted by oxidising, in a mixed condition, the same metal or alloy as the metal or alloy constituting the bottom electrode (3), and a transition metal which is the same as the transition metal constituting the positive hole injection layer (5) is interposed in a condition in contact with the bottom electrode (3) and the positive hole injection layer (5). |
