The device (1) has light sources i.e. LEDs, whose light emission provides a light function for a motor car (K). A light conductor comprises a light exit surface, and a light entry surface is assigned to one of the light sources. The light conductor is anti-swiveling arranged in a holding element. The holding element is associated with a tinted windshield that faces the light exit surface of the light conductor. The holding element comprises running walls that are parallel to each other and connected with bottom.
