Disclosed are a method and device for selecting a good friend in a microblog, belonging to the technical field of computers. The method for selecting a good friend in a microblog includes: detecting an operation of a user clicking a good friend selection trigger button, invoking a good friend selection interface, displaying a good friend list, a good friend address bar and a good friend confirm button in the good friend selection interface; detecting an operation of the user selecting N good friends in the good friend list, adding the good friend identifiers corresponding to the N good friends into the good friend address bar; and detecting an operation of the user clicking the good friend confirm button to realize selecting N friends in a microblog, where N is a positive integer and N is greater than 1. The embodiments of the present invention enable the improvement of the service experience of a user to select a plurality of good friends in a microblog.
