<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable alternative output, even if consumables necessary for an image forming apparatus of output destination are not loaded, to the other image forming apparatuses in which the concerned consumables are loaded. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 that includes a consumables selection housing part 5 that can detachably house a plurality of kinds of consumables, is made to include a printable mode specification part 11 that specifies the executable print mode according to the kinds of the consumables under loading; and a print control part 13 that responds right or wrong of printing by verifying the print conditions and the executable print mode, when receiving inquiries on right or wrong of printing under the print conditions specified by a host device 2; prompts execution of print to an image forming part 15 when receiving the print data from the host device, and when determining that print is possible by verifying the specified print conditions and the executable print mode, and when determining that print is possible, and responds that the print is impossible when determining that the print is impossible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
