PURPOSE: A noncontact type solution refraction measuring device using an optical fiber is provided to measure the refraction of solution without contacts regardless of the reaction of the solution. CONSTITUTION: A noncontact type solution refraction measuring device using an optical fiber comprises a light source(110), a beam splitter(120), a probe optical fiber unit(150), a first detector, a second detector, and a measuring unit(165). The beam splitter receives light emitted by the light source, splits the same, and outputs split lights through first and second output terminals. The probe optical fiber unit includes a plurality of multi-mode optical fibers, which is integrated with a first optical fiber by thermal fusion, around a longitudinal end of the first optical fiber. The first detector detects lights which are transmitted to the light source, emitted via the first optical fiber, reflected by the surface of target solution, and received via multi-mode optical fiber. The second detector detects the lights transmitted via the other end of the second optical fiber which one end is connected to the second output terminal. The measuring unit calculates the refraction of the target solution based on the lights detected by first and second detectors.
