<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of wrong operation due to an unintended touch on a touch panel by setting a low sensitivity area in a peripheral part of the touch panel, which a user can often touch unintendedly. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal 10, which is a smartphone for example, includes a touch panel 16 and a setting key 28.
