<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method whereby, in a step of producing calcium carbonate, the production efficiency can be improved and the amount of grit produced can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In a slaking reaction for converting calcium oxide into calcium hydroxide, the slaking reaction is carried out by mixing a washing liquid used for washing the produced grit into calcium oxide, thereby reducing the amount of grit produced and increasing the amount of calcium carbonate produced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
