<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for electrical component capable of avoiding a case in which an insertion hole of a socket body comes into contact with a contact pad and is crushed even if a peripheral edge of the insertion hole partially overlaps with the contact pad in plan view. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an IC socket for electrical component such that a first plate 16 has a plurality of insertion holes 16a into which a plurality of contact pins 20 are to be inserted, a recessed part 18 which is recessed upwardly in a predetermined arrangement region A2 into which the plurality of contact pins 20 are inserted in an insertion hole formation region A1 where the plurality of insertion holes 16a are formed is formed on an under surface of the first plate 16, and a vertical gap is formed between an upper surface 18a of the recessed part 18 and an upper surface 30a of a contact pad 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
