<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly usable remote control for karaoke. <P>SOLUTION: A remote control 20 causes a list acquiring unit to read from a slot unit 240, a personal list file in which character string data of titles of music pieces and names of singers are stored and that is stored in a storage medium 245. The remote control causes a natural language processing unit to create a personal list, with each character string data of the read personal list file associated with a music piece ID. Subsequently, a group list creation unit creates a group list under a predetermined condition, from the personal lists of a plurality of users.
